How the NBA Playoff Predictor Works

• Seeds: 1 to 6 in each conference go straight to the playoffs; 7 to 10 play the Play-In. Move any team up or down.
• Play-In: the 7 v 8 winner is the No. 7 seed; the loser hosts the 9 v 10 winner for No. 8.
• Bracket: 1 v 8, 4 v 5, 3 v 6 and 2 v 7, then the winners meet; no reseeding. Tap a team to send it through.
• Simulator: “Most likely bracket” sends the stronger team through each series by record (with home court); “Simulate (random)” plays it out with those odds, so every run can differ.
